The San Fernando Valley Celtic Culture Meetup
|
Meet other locals interested in Celtic Culture. Gather to discuss Celtic origins, history, art and music. We could also talk about gatherings around specific holidays (like St. Patrick's Day), or do potlucks with your favorite Celtic recipes. I want to welcome those from the "old country," as well as those (like myself) who are of Irish/Scottish ancestry, but have yet to make it back to the land of our roots. ALSO, we would like to hear from the Welsh, Cornish, and other Celts, so we can all learn from each other. The photo I've tried to post is of some Celtic jewelry I've acquired over the years. I love to wear these pieces as my own statement--and conversation starters! Sorry about the photo quality. My late husband was the photographer in the family, not me.

Our next meeting:
The San Fernando Valley Celtic Culture June Meeting
I want this first meeting to be an open and democratic one! First, let's get to know each other, and then go from there. Perhaps we would like to have someone (maybe me!) take notes about what aspects of Celtic culture each person is interested in. We could plan subsequent meetings/events from here.
Also, I'd like to hear from those who attend this first meeting as to where they'd like to have future meetings. Read more
